We are sorry to hear your comments. When we receive any declared medical condition as part of the application process, we have to make the appropriate enquiries with any medical evidence or vetting certificates available to determine the level of risk . Ultimately there are occasions where we are unable to offer under any terms.

Only concern is that I've since realised Horse Insurance is actually E&L Insurance who don't have the best of reputations when it comes to making claims. Hopefully won't need to use it.

Very disappointing
We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. It is a requirement for some of our policies to ask for 5 stage vetting certificates and x-rays completed within the last 2 months, due to value of sum insured. We appreciate your comments and sympathise with the circumstances, however without more recent up to date information, we are unable to proceed with your application.
