Oberon a tiny foal was born in Barnstead at the Original Miniature Pony Centre on Dartmoor.
Oberon who is only 20 inches high was named after Oberon, Kind of the Fairies a character in A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream as he was born on Shakespeare’s birthday on 23 April.
The Guinness Book of Records listed Thumberlina in the US as the world’s smallest horse. Breeders say that unlike the current record holder, Thumberlina, Einstein shows no signs of dwarfism – he is just a tiny horse.
