Regal Parade ready for rematch with Captain Ramius
Regal Parade could be set for a possible thrilling rematch with his Ayr competitor Captain Ramius at Ascot in October.
The eight-year-old finished two and a half lengths behind the Kevin Ryan-trained winner in the Ayr Gold Cup and both are now being primed for the Betfred Challenge Cup on October 6th.
Trainer of Regal Parade Milton Bradley said he was delighted with the effort of his charge in the race and hoped he could go one better at Ascot next month.
Bradley added that he seems a much happier horse in recent weeks, which has led to an upturn in form and made a real difference to the end of his season, which hasn’t always been successful.
“We were going to go to Ascot for the seven-furlong race next month and that’s still the plan. Let’s hope we can get him there as good as he was last week,” the trainer continued.
