World Horse Welfare reaches two million YouTube hits
Equine charity the World Horse Welfare has celebrated its two millionth hit on its YouTube videos, which demonstrate the good work the charity takes part in.
There are a total 121 videos posted by the charity for equine insurance customers to watch with topics ranging from welfare and prosecution cases, to the charity's transportation campaign and its annual conference.
Ever since the first video was uploaded on to the sharing site the World Horse Welfare has done all of the production and filming at their head office in Snetterton, Norfolk.
Film and new media officer Basil Hayes said it was good to see so many people responding positively to the videos being posted.
“We have always tried to keep the videos interesting, informative and educational, and it’s important that World Horse Welfare uses technology such as this to continue to educate people about charities like us," he added.
The World Horse Welfare's campaign against the transportation of equine led them to filing a dossier to the European Commission denouncing the practice.
