Horse gets used to creature comforts

Posted on | 0 Responses

The recent bad weather in the UK has led to a number of horse owners having to seek alternative accommodation for their animals.

But a woman in Germany has found that it is important to consider the options and their implications carefully.

Stephanie Arndt brought her horse into her home to protect it from the storms and has now found that she cannot get him to return to his stables.

Nasar has become accustomed to the creature comforts inside the house, eating sweets, drinking fruit juice and playing the keyboard, Germany’s Die Welt newspaper reports.

He has his own room with hay, but is an inquisitive animal and likes to go exploring all over the property.

Every day he comes to the house trying to get in, but Ms Arndt insists he goes back to his own accommodation at night, which can be a lengthy process.

She said: "He is not a fan of the wind and the rain."
