Dedicated rider gets back in the saddle
It was a happy ending for one young riding enthusiast this week after she made a fantastic medical breakthrough.
After being diagnosed with a curvature of the spine when she was 14, Chloe West was told she would never stand upright, reports the Epsom Guardian.
Chloe was devastated at the news and thought she would never be able to ride horses again.
However, she was determined. Now 16, Chloe underwent a rigorous regime of exercises and physiotherapy to rebuild her muscles and push through her Scoliosis diagnosis.
After some intensive hard work, she is now back in the saddle and feeding her passion once more. Driven and motivated, Chloe was able to avoid surgery to overcome her problems.
She revealed: "My confidence has soared and I am so excited about getting back to riding and really focusing on getting to university in two years’ time."
