Calls for horse to win Brit Award
An online petition is garnering support for the horse that kicked the rapper Dappy from N-Dubz to be given a Brit Award in next year's ceremony.
The document at Change.org suggests that the animal should be handed an Outstanding Contribution to Music gong, because it "has performed a public service and should be recognised".
According to a spokesperson for the musician, he is recovering in hospital after falling from his own horse while riding in the grounds of his home and then being kicked in the face.
The rapper seems to be in high spirits regarding the accident as he posted a picture of the horse on Twitter soon afterwards, joking about the incident.
Dappy is one-third of the hip hop group from Camden Town, which also includes Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer.
N-Dubz were nominated for their own Brit Award in 2010 for the work they did on the Tinchy Stryder track Number 1.
