Black Caviar could ‘mate with Frankel’
Black Caviar's trainer – Peter Moody – has talked up the possibility of his horse returning to the UK this year to compete and then mate with other wonder horse Frankel.
The winner of 24 from 24 races, including a record 14 Group One victories, could return to the UK this summer after winning the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot last June.
He told At The Races that there is a "concerted push" for her to be bred with Frankel, though no formal decision has been made as of yet.
Mr Moody admitted that it would create an awful lot of interest if the two horses were to mate as both are global superstars in the sport.
He added: "She would run at Royal Ascot and stay to be covered by Frankel, southern hemisphere time. I don't think it'd be a silly mating; physically they are quite well matched."
