Beware of Olympic ticket touts
Equestrian fans that are keen on getting their hands on last minute tickets for the Olympics have been warned that there are a number of unlicensed sellers in the market.
Organisers of the Games LOCOG has published a list of 71 websites that are illegally selling tickets for the event, which gets underway with the Opening Ceremony this evening (July 27th).
Reader of Horse and Hound Tracey Yeadon alerted the publication to a number of the sites based in other countries that are charging extortionate amounts of money for admission.
Ms Yeadon said it is disappointing that fans of sport are being unfairly outpriced for tickets to see the Games.
A spokesman for LOCOG told the news provider: "We urge people only to purchase tickets from the LOCOG website and authorised sources. We also have a website checker on our website to allow you to confirm whether a site is genuine."
