2010 Grand National winner

Tony McCoys biggest accolade came from his two year old daughter Eve, who presented him with a picture that said, ‘ My Daddy is the greatest jockey in the world,’ after he won the Grand National 2010 last weekend.

The champion jockey won the John Smith’s Grand National after his 15th attempt with Don’t Push It, trained by Jonjo O’Neil and owned by JP McManus. The  ten year old  Don’t Push It, normally spends most of his time grazing with sheep however, last Saturday he spent his day parading up and down the packed grandstand receiving shouts and cheers of adulation.

He’s always had a few mental problems which makes two of us, “said McCoy. “That’s probably why we get on so well. I had a choice of two horses today and the trainer put me on the right one, he steered me towards Don’t Push It. But I am delighted for JP McManus because he is the best supporter this game has ever had and ever will have. I am very, very privileged that I rode a Grand National Winner in these colours.”
