Show jumping to be shown in 3D

For the first time ever show jumping will be available to view in 3D. Sky will film the puissance at The Horse of the Year Show which starts tomorrow.
Managing Director of HOYS organisers Helena Pettitt said ‘I’m really excited. To see a horse jumping out of the screen will be amazing.’
Sky is also hoping to film some Pony Club mounted games as well as speed horse and accumulator classes in 3D.
Visitors will be able to watch 3D footage at the show which will be pre-recorded.
Sky 3D operations manager Robin Broomfield said ‘3D lends itself very well to equestrianism. We’re confident show jumping will work well.’
