Frankel named ‘best horse ever’

Frankel, who scooped the top spot in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot, has been named the greatest horse of all time by Timeform.
The organisation has been rating racehorses for generations, but was blown away by the thoroughbred's performance. Frankel finished the race with an 11-length lead.
Timeform bestowed the title of 'ultimate racehorse' on the runner.
David Johnson, Timeform flat editor, said: "The facts are that Frankel's performance is likely to surpass anything witnessed in Timeform's 64-year history."
Excelebration, ridden by JP O'Brien, came second in the 2.30pm race, while Side Glance, at 33-1, finished in third.
Royal Ascot is almost as famous for its hats and fabulous dresses as it is for its champion horses.
Ladies' Day, when all the hats are on display, was a much more subdued affair this year than it has been in the past.
Celebrities such as Danielle Lloyd and Amanda Holden were snapped by photographers at the unique event.
